Microsoft Works Suite 2003 Spreadsheet ????

I am presently trying open spreadsheet documents
originally created on an older works program. When
trying to open it in the new program (Works Suite 2003) I
get an error message that reads as follows: "BYL1
contains a formula outside the area that Works can
access." I get similiar error messages e.g. VJN1, PQG1,
MGZ1, RFM1, OCW1. Obviously all of these refer to
functions, but I can not seem to locate the problems, nor
how to correct them. I would like to open these older
spreadsheet documents without being faced with these
error messages everytime I open them. If anyone could
share some advice on how to resolve this, I would greatly
appreciate it.
