Microsoft Works Word Processer (Not Responding)

This occurred after I used Acrobat Reader 5.0 to open
Microsoft Works Word Processer. I have Deleted Acrobat
Reader 5.0, and I have tried System Restore, Disk Clean Up
and Scan Disk. "Could you please help me with a solution
to this?"
