Anyone:
I have VB custom macros attached to Excel custom buttons
(laboriously, if less than artistically, crafted using
good-old "edit button image").
I mail the Excel8.XLB file to myself every time I have to
set Excel up on a new computer for myself. (Along with
Personal.xls, Sheet.xlt and Book.xlt)
BUT
When I sit down to use Excel on a new installation, first
downloading all my files and putting them where they go,
if the directory name for the path to the macros in
Personal.xls is not exactly the same across computers
(Typically C:\WinNT\Profiles\{username}\Application
Data\Microsoft\Excel\) then the buttons on my custom
button bars lose the link to the macros in Personal.xls.
Short of manually reattaching the macros to the buttons
(which gets harder the more macros I stick on my button
bars, and more annoying each time I have to do it) how can
I "batch" change the path assignments to buttons on Excel
button bars?
It would probably be something like
For each Bt in application.
Thanks in advance to anyone who can give me a simple
solution.
Cheers,
