Migrate filled in forms from SharePoint 2003 to SharePoint 2007 si

Hello All,

I hope you can help me with this -

I have a bunch of Infopath (2003) form libraries published into SharePoint
2003 sites (which users have used to fill in forms). We have since upgraded
to SharePoint 2007 and I'm not able to update the forms in the 2007 site to
refer to the template in the new 2007 site and stop referring to the old
template. Can anyone give me a step by step procedure of how I can migrate
the forms AND the template.

Any help would be Greatly Appreciated!

Thanks.

Is there a new version of the form as well? You should just be able to
publish the new form template to the existing/upgraded forms library.

As Kalyan's link suggests, changing the location might be possible in the
forms themselves.

If there are a lot of forms, you could also convert the Xml to your new
InfoPath form format. This would require knowledge of Xml and XSLT to do
this however, so may not be your cup of tea. If you don't have many forms it
may be time to just bite the bullet and retype the lot - ugh :) I have more
information on how to do this here:

http://www.infopathkb.com/Knowledge...te location in an existing InfoPath form.aspx

In the case where there are lots of forms, you could even use a utility that
did a global replace of the <?mso...> reference to your new template location.

Gavin & Kalyan,

Thank you both for your responses and advice. I ended up editing the .xml
files and changing the link. I had around 30 files to do, but did this anyway
coz I wanted to do some reorganizing of the files as well.

Thanks again. Appreciate it!
