To better evaluate MS Project Server 2003, we built a server in the lab
enviornment and made terrific strides in customizing the server to suit our
needs.

Problem is, we would like to migrate this server to an existing production
server. We cannot change the name of the production server.

Can anyone direct us on how to go about this proccess? Or at least to some
detailed documentation?

The Project Server Disaster Recovery Guide has limitations and Cource book
2732A does not detail the procedure we are looking for.

I realize that you can easily restore the SQl Database, but I am concerned
about computer names, database names, links.

Michael:

It's a matter of taking the easy restore route and changing the connection
data afterwards, to reflect the new environment.
