Migrate note templates from OneNote2003 to OneNote2007

How do I migrate the document templates from OneNote2003 to 2007? The upgrade
unfortunately did not do this. (It did also not migrate the customized
flags/tags that I had defined, but I created them manually).
TIA

Do you mean the customized templates (stationaries) or buit-in templates?
Custom template should been upgraded while the build-in stationaries get
overwritten by OneNote 2007 version of stationaries.

Thanks,

Thank you for replying. I meant the customized templates/stationaries.
Unfortunately, they were not upgraded/migrated to OneNote2007.
Is there a way that I can import them manually?
With the flags/tags I was able to use the 'Add to My Tags' function to
easily add them to OneNote 2007.

Try to see if you have "My Templates.one" in C:\Documents and Settings\[user
name]\Application Data\Microsoft\Templates. (where [user name] should be
filled with your user name.) This is custom template file.
If you have one, then click to open it with OneNote 2007.
Let it upgrade.
Once upgrade process is completed, you should be able to use it with
OneNote2007.

I hope this will help,

The association of stationery with sections in ON2003 will be lost after the
upgrade, you'll need to reset this on per-section basis (unfortunately :( ).
The stationery pages themselves should have been saved into
%appdata%\Microsoft\Templates folder in "My Stationery.one" file. This file
will be upgraded when you access custom stationery form OneNote 2007 for the
first time (e.g. bring up the Stationery pane).

Is that file missing on the machine? Did you happen to upgrade from XP to
Vista (you might need to check the old XP folder then and move the file into
new Vista location, it should have happened automatically, though)? Another
possible problem could be if "My Stationery.one" was corrupt in a subtle
manner, so ON2003 was still limping along but ON2007 fails to upgrade it. In
this case you'd need to open the file with ON2003 and fix it (if you log a
bug to Connect site, you can attach the file to it and we'll take a look too).

Thank you all for the help. Opening the my stationary.one file and converting
it in ON 2007 resoved the issue.
Y'all have a great weekend!
