Migrate PS 2007 SQL 2000 DB's to SQL 2007

I want to migrate PS2007 projectserver using SQL 2000 backend to SQL 2005
environment. I have limited familiarity with SQL 2005. I am mainly
interested in moving Project Server databases ( I can lose any Sharepoint
content dbs'). Can someone advise on the main issues, or point me to a kb on
this topic.

Thanks

If your moving to a new SQL server (new name/ip), then you will have to
re-create your PWA site. This involves provisioning a new PWA, then
restoring your old DB's over the new one.

If you're simply upgrading an existing SQL server to 2005, then I'm not
aware of any issues.

Obvisouly taking the necessary backups prior to any change.

Ultimately the intent is to upgrade to SQL 2005 whether this is an upgrade
process (same box) or a migration process (new box) I don't yet know. Let's
assume for the moment that it is a migration process. What are the steps to
get my SQL 2000 DB's onto new 2005 environment? I can build a new ps
environment if necessary. Can I then simply restore the 2000 DB's into 2005
environment?
