Migrated 2003 projects and actual work spreading around

Can anyone please tell me how to fix or prevent task assignments from blowing
up (actual work spreading around, remaining work blowing up, etc) in migrated
projects? We have:
* Followed all pre-migration preparation steps
* Installed all updates and CUs on 2007 and client workstations (except for
the 12/09 CU).
* Removed and replaced all 2003 calendars with exact same 2007 calendars.
We had a small handful of project tasks that didn't migrate right and fixed
them manually. That's not a problem as many of the assignments were corrupt
in 2003. The real problem is that entering and updating time is doing what
it has been all along and it is supposed to be fixed. This does not happen
with new installs.

Please help. This was supposed to have been fixed each of the last four
updates (sorry, just ranting a bit).

Larry --

I believe that the 12/9 CU is the update that fixes the "data smearing"
problem you are seeing. Hope this helps.

Thanks Dale. I honestly thought that every update since and including SP2
fixed this problem and that the December CU was only about changing calendars
which is why we waited. We will get this tested and installed ASAP and hope
this solves our problem.
