Migrated to new MacBook Pro - Some Office apps now in test drive

I migrated from a PBook G4 with a full version of MS Office to a new MacBook
Pro via Apple¹s Migration Assistant. MS Word, Entourage, and PowerPoint are
all working fine but when I launched Excel for the first time following the
migration, it informed me that it was a Test Drive version. Any suggestions
on how to teach the computer that it is actually a full version?

If I need to reload Office, I know my identity and Entourage dbase are
retained. Will I lose all of my prefs and templates? Will I need to remove
my templates from the MS Office folder before reloading it?

Thanks.

Yes, save your templates from the Office application folders, then run
'remove office' from "/Applications/Microsoft Office 2004/Additional
Tools/Remove Office/Remove Office" to remove all traces of the test drive.
You will lose your prefs, but not any data in the MUD folder.

I suspect that the computer already had the trial version loaded.

The idea would be to use the uninstaller to uninstall Office Trial and
then reinstall the whole thing. The identity shouldn't be affected, but
the templates could if they are simply in the default
/Applications/Micorosft Office 2004/Template folder.
Make sure you relocate them elsewhere before you uninstall, then
re-locate them where they belong once you've reinstalled.
