We have been using a PRF file to configure our Outlok XP users for some time
successfully without any problems. We are in the process of upgrading all
our clients to Office 2003 and in our installer package set the outlook icon
to look at the prf and run that rather than trying to get the users to all
reconfigure their outlook profiles again.
Two problems have occured. The first is that it doesn't seem to run the prf
automatically full stop. The other is when we run the prf manually as the
user is now displays a message which we have never had before. It says;
Outlook is about to import information into your email accounts. This can
potentially modify or replace your existing email account settings. Would
you like to import account settings - yes or no.
Is this because the prf was created using Outllok xp and we are now trying
to use to configure an Outlook 2003 account?
