Migrating from OE6 to Outlook 2003

Any suggestions would be appreciate on the best method of importing OE6
email to an exchange Outlook 2003 account. I have run into a problem where
the dates of the imported OE6 email have the date of the import not the
actual date of the received email. The procedure I followed was going into
Outlook 2003 and creating a new profile and going to file->import. Would the
best method be to export it first from OE6 then create a profile. Then
import the OE6 data into the Outlook 2003 profile. I am open to any
suggestions.

Any suggestions would be appreciate on the best method of importing

In Outlook Express, click File>Export>Messages. That will preserve the
dates.
