Migrating from PS 2003 to Project Server 2007

Hello,
I'm envisioning the migration of Project Server 2003 to 2007.
What about the resources and users?
In 2003, we are using AD sync to manage resources.
What is the best (more secure) way to get the resources in the 2007 version?
- Continue with AD sync
- Import the resources via: Tools / Enterprise Options / Import Resources
to Enterprise
- a third one?

If there is a RBS in the 2003 resource pool, how can we retreive (copy) it
in 2007 ?

I want to migrate from Project Server *2002* to Project Server 2007.

Hi Robert, you've a lot of reading ahead of you. It would be worth reading
and digesting the migration guide at
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-gb/library/cc303388.aspx which will begin to
answer many of your questions. In essence a migration is possible, but it is
not always an easy task.

I guess it is not an easy task, so that why I asked for some feed back of
your experiment.
One more problem: your Technet link is about migration from 2003 to 2007,
while I have to migrate from 2002 to 2007

Hi Robert,
You have to run the 2003 upgrade scripts, (inclinding the SP2a scripts).
This then puts the DB in a formation that migration.exe will recognise.
