Migrating my database from laptop to server

I have been successfully running BCM 2007 (Beta 2 TR) on my laptop in a
standalone mode. My colleague has been able to connect over the network
without any problems.

We are now trying to migrate my database onto a standalone server running MS
SQL Server 2005 but are unable to connect to it.

The methodology we used was to do a database backup from my laptop, copy the
backup file to the server and then restore the backup into the server
database.

We have followed all of the relevant steps in

Any suggestions?
