Migrating ON2007 to Vista from XP ON2007 B2TR

Have installed Vista 32-bit in dual mode and trial version of Home&Student
2007, including ON2007. Also running ON2007 B2TR under Windows XP on the
same laptop. So, tried to copy over myon2007 files from XP to Vista, restart
ON2007 and pick up where I left off in XP. Didn't figure on MS changing the
whole directory structure under Vista.

Have two questions. First, I know where MS stored the files and templates
under XP, but where does it store the stuff under Vista? I thought I found
the places but even though I've copied over the *.one files and the
templates, when I open ON2007, it still doesn't see any note books or
stationary.

Second, do I have to "import" the stuff from the XP folders into Vista? Or,
should just copying the files be enough?

If OneNote first launchs without the Notebooks in the expected folder, you
have to go to File->Open->Notebook and Navigate to any other notebooks you
want opened.

If you can access your XP Files from Vista, then all you have to do is
navigate to the notebook as explained above and open it from there. That way,
you can access the same Notebook in both XP and Vista and never have to make
a copy.

Thanks. I'd already found the default location (remembered to look at the
Options lines) and copied the notebooks there. At first, there were no
templates, either. Bt after I opened each of the copied notebooks, all the
templates then appeared in the list. Appears to work OK now.
