I have been given the task of migrating staff Archive files (located
on multiple site servers) to one central server in our DataCenter.
There are about 400 staff PST Archives we must move to the new
server. My question is based around changing the Outlook/Exchange
settings so that the new path to the staff archives are set
automatically.
Can this be done though Group Policy? (...miscellanous/PST Settings -
or another place)
Or should I stick to using a new PRF file to change the Outlook
settings?
And lastly, in order to avoid staff encountering any error messages,
is there a way to automatically "close" the old archive (pst file)
before the migration begins?
