Hi,
Can anyone tell me whether or not PSMIGRAT.EXE leaves a Sharepoint Team
Services site intact after migrating it? I have an existing installation of
STS and Project Server 2002 (making use of the integration features between
the two) and, considering the risky nature of upgrading, would like to
perform the migration to WSS and Project Server 2003 on a copy of the live
data. My general plan of attack is as follows:
1. Install WSS
2. Copy Project Server 2002 database
3. Run the Project Server 2003 migration scripts on the copy of the 2002
database
4. Install Project Server 2003
5. Run PSMIGRAT to import the STS sites to WSS.
So the bit that I'm not sure about is whether or not I will still have a
working STS site after step 5. If anyone knows the answer to this and/or can
tell me if I am doing anything wrong in steps 1-4, I would appreciate them
letting me know.
Thanks,
Ivan
