Migrating the Work Menu

Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: intel

I recently upgraded from Office 2004 to Office 2008. All is well so far, but for one thing: the Work menu is blank. I had a rather long menu and would prefer not to have to rebuild it if there is an easy way to import the Work menu from 2004?

Just an additional question to Microsoft: the submission time shown on my first post is 5:22 AM. Here on the East Coast the time was 9:22. Are you still on Standard Time in Redmond?

Goodness knows what time it was in Redmond, but your post arrived on this
server at Thu, 3 Apr 2008 05:22:51, and you sent it from a location that is
eight hours behind UTC :)

As far as I am aware, there is no way to import the Work menu to another
computer: I believe it is stored in the Word 2008 preferences, which are not
the same format as the 2004 preferences.

Hope this helps

I'm randomly speculating that you could use another user to trick Word
into importing the 2004 preferences on First Run, but I'm not even sure
the Work menu is something Word 2008 tries to import, when it attempts
to import your preferences. I can help you experiment, if you feel up to it.

Thanks to all three respondents. Since the inability to import is a minor nuisance, I figure the best answer is to take a screen shot of the Work menu in WORD 2004 (so I don't forget some entries) and just re-enter them all in WORD 2008.

P.S. I guess we'll never know what time it is in Redmond...
