Migration Project Client to Project Server 2003

Hi all !!

I need to migrate all our projects (projects, resources, Actual Work...)
from our Project client (File) to the new server, how can I do it ?? I was
looking for any tools to do
it but I didn't find.


Any idea ??

There is no tool to automate this process. You must manually import every
..mpp project file into the Project Server database using Tools - Enterprise
Options - Import Project to Enterprise. You must do this to make sure your
..mpp projects conform to your project, task, and resource standards set up
in Project Server. Assuming you have already added your resources to the
Enterprise Resource Pool, pay special attention to the page in the Import
Project wizard in which you must match local resources in the .mpp file with
enterprise resources in the Enterprise Resource Pool. Hope this helps.

Same question about a Actual Work I losing this information?

You will not lose any actuals entered in the .mpp project plans when you
import them to the Project Server database. Hope this helps.
