Hi all,
What is the shortest way of migration from one PS 2007 to the new one?
Both of them has the same names. All that I need is to restore on the new
one server resource pool and projects.
TIA

To create a copy of Instance A on Instance B:

Restore the four ProjectServer databases from instance A to a new name
or new server.

Install Project Server on Instance B server. Follow the usual
instructions (I like Microsoft's "Installing Project Server on a
Medium Farm" document.) except the part about provisioning a new PWA
site. At this point, specify the newly restored databases instead of
new database names.

This will give you a second Project server with the same Project
Server content as the first. This does _not_ copy the SharePoint
content. To do that, you should use the stsadm.exe tool to backup and
restore SharePoint webs.

You can provision a second PWA site ( like http://servername/PWA2/ )
or delete the original site on server B and recreate it using the
restored databases.
