Hello,
My name is Eli and i have a question regarding MSAccess and SQL Server 2000.
Today our product uses Microsoft Access 2000 as a local DB and SQL server
2000 as the server DB.
We are synchronize both enviroment using MFC code layer with ODBC connection.
The code is realy complicated and we have many problems.
I would like to get some tips of what newer features of MS Accsess We can
use today so we can migrate the access DB that hold the saving with the SQL
server 2000 we have.
I looking for a relaybe solution that will save to the local MDB file and to
the SQL server within a transaction. It also need to recover network down,
failures and synchronize the Server when the local MDB stand allon without
server side.
I need to get some tips of what technology to use when i leave the current
structure of local DB and server.
any ideas?
Thanks.
Eli.
