Milestone Tasks

Is there a way to prevent PWA users from entering time against a Milestone
task? If not, is there a way to force a milestone task to display
differently.....Bold or in a different color?

We use milestones on our schedules and I am having an issue with users
entering time against them. We have them assigned, so they appear on the
resources timesheets.

Don't assign resources to milestone or summary tasks.

OK. If my resources do not review the entire project schedule on a regular
basis, is there another way to assign items for information purposes
only.....like a Target Release date?

Why don't you just add the Summary view to the Project Center views and the
Tasks Summary view to the Project views in the My Tasks category in PWA?
This will allow your team members to see the entire project in PWA,
including the estimated finish date. Then teach them to review the project
at least once a week. Just a thought. Hope this helps.

Thank you for your reply. The resources already have the views they need to
review the project.....but I don't think they take to time to look at it. If
the item is on their timesheet, they have to look at it. I was just
wondering if there was something I was missing regarding how to customize how
items display.
