Milestones Dissapear in MS Project Server 2007

If I create a template and have several milestones, then use the
CreateProjectFromTemplate method to create a project from that template, the
resulting project plan's milestones are gone. They are no longer marked as
milestones IF and only IF the template's milestone(s) have resources assigned
to them. Does anybody know why, has this bug been addressed? We are already
on SP1.

Also, if creating a project using CreateProjectFromTemplate, the
views/tables from the template do not transfer to the resulting project plan,
anybody know why?
