Milo: backing up autotext and signatures

i'm finally giving in and using Word as the editor behind Outlook 2003.

I'm creating signatures and autotext there for quick usage.
Where are these stored? Is there any way to keep the stored
file somewhere under "My Documents" so that I'll be frequently
backing these up when I back up "My Docs"?

Thanks!

They're stored in the C:\Documents and Settings\<user name>\Application
Data\Microsoft\Signatures directory.

Thanks Vince. And is there any way to safely move them to be referenced
under "MyDocs" instead so I don't have to remember to copy the files each
time before doing my simple MyDocs backup?

Go on -> Tools/Options/E-mail Format/Signatures

there you can write the signature that you want. everytime you write "new
e-mail" your signature will be there.

I'm not sure you understood the question, Carlos. I can create signatures
just fine. What I'm looking to be able to do is more easily back them up so
that if I have another system crash (like I did last week), I won't have to
recreate them all.

Vince's posting taught me that they are stored in:
C:\Documents and Settings\<user name>\Application
Data\Microsoft\Signatures directory.

but I'd like to know if there's a way to tell outlook (or is it Word?) that
I'd like them to be kept somewhere else. This works in OE and Outlook for
storing important files in MyDocs so I'm hoping it can be done here as well.

I don't think so. While you can control the final folder name (Signatures)
with a registry setting, signatures will always be under %AppData%\Microsoft
