We're using Office 2003 SP3 on XP desktops. Corporate policy forces us to
save all e-mails as .msg format on a Windows file server.
Upon opening some messages we receive a "The operation failed. An object
could not be found" error.
After much head scratching and investigation i've found it's only messages
with "This message is in MIME Fomat. Since your mail reader does not
understand this format, some or all of this message may not be legible" in
the Internet Header (using, View/Options/Internet Headers) that it happens
with.
Is there a fix for this? I've got a workaround whereby you forward the
message to yourself but this isn't practical for many of our staff.
If there's a fix for this, or anyone can help me solve this i'd be very
grateful.
Thanks
