Mini-calendars

In Entourage 2004 there was Show/Hide button that showed or hid mini views of the current and next two months in the pane to the left of the main calendar. In Entourage 2008 they're gone. I've searched Help, all menus the this forum and I can't see how I can get them back. Am I missing something obvious?

In any view window, click on the little triangle in the bottom left corner.
You'll need to drag the separator line to show how many calendares you want
showing.

Did you know you could also add the Calendar and Address Book like a folder
in Mail View? Uncheck 'show Mail folders only' Under View in the Menu bar.

Thanks Diane, that was the trick. But, they now show in all views. I don't want to see the calendars in Mail view because I have enough folders to fill the panel. Can I set this to show mini-calendars only in Calendar view, or am I sentenced to switching it on and off every time I change views?

You can't switch it on or off automatically depending on the view you're in.
I'm afraid you will have to do this manually.

You can Hide the folder list. Command-B--- You'll find that under Calendar
in the Menu bar.

Boy, do I agree with you.... Every calendar program I have ever seen shows
mini-calendars in the margin of the main view. What on earth made someone
decide that should be an easter egg option and then allow that to screw up
the perfectly decent Mail view.

It¹s as if Mom went to the store and the kids started trying to bake a cake.

Since I can¹t delete a newsgroup post, I have to add that I figured out how
to make the mail view acceptable by deleting mailboxes and creating
sub-folders. Actually, I kind of like having a little calendar on the mail
view.

Couldn¹t let that wisecrack be the final word. I know people have worked
hard on this and still are.
