Minimising Outlook

When I minimise Outlook it closes down - I don't have the Outlook icon
appearing in the system tray/notification area in the bottom right-hand
corner of the screen - HELP!!!!

Right-click the Notification Area and choose "Customize Notifications".
Look for "Microsoft Office Outlook" and see if its behavior is set to "Hide
when inactive". Try changing it to "Always show". Click OK, then OK. It
should be in your Notification Area now and you should be able to
right-click it and uncheck "Hide When Minimized".
