Minimize / expand toolbar area using keyboard?

Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) Processor: Intel Is there a way to minimize or expand the toolbar area using the keyboard, i.e. getting the same effect as clicking on the oval in the upper right corner of the window?

That's an Apple gizmo & AFAIK there is no keystroke assigned to it... In
fact, it's so poorly documented I'm not even sure what actual command you'd
assign one to even if it can be done. It would have to be done through
System Preferences for keyboard shortcuts, but I've not seen it listed.
