minimize Outlook 2003 as soon as it opens

I know how to minimize Outlook 2003 to the systray, but I
want it to START in the systray. Is there any way to
start Outlook in the systray without having to first open
it and click the minimize button?

I tried editing the desktop shortcut so that it starts
minimized, but that did not do anything.
