minimize screen

I am currently using Office 2007 on a Windows XP machine. Really wierd thing
that I hope someone else has experienced. When I'm in Outlook (Outlook only)
and I click the minimize button on the top right hand side, Outlook shuts
down. I've tried to go the Outlook button at the very top left hand side to
get the "Restore" "Minimize" and "Close" menu. When I select "minimize" from
there, Outlook shuts down. Huh? If I do this this from Word, Excel, Access,
etc. minimize works. It's just Outlook. How can I get the "minimize"
feature back for my user?

Sorry ... found my own answer. On the taskbar, he had selected "hide when
minimized" and so the icon only showed on the right hand side next to the
clock. Once I "unhid" it, it showed up on his taskbar, (about 20 million
times since he kept opening up new instances of Outlook).

sorry for the post, but hopefully, someone will need this answer.
