It used to be that all open Access objects appeared in the taskbar (Access
2003 on Windows XP), so that when you wanted to activate an open object from
behind another or from it's minimized state, you could find the object in
the taskbar using a tool-tip and click on it, or right-click on it and use
the context menu etc.
In Access 2007 on Vista the objects do not appear in the taskbar. If you
minimize an object it is represented by a title bar in the Access window.
However, if the active object is maximized, it obscures the title bars and
any other open objects behind it, and you don't know they're there. Even if
the title bar is not obscured there is no tool tip to indicate what the
object is.
Is there a setting I can change to get the old functionality back? Or is a
fix coming? Did they do this on purpose?
