Minimizing Entourage Window

In an earlier version of Office, I was able to minimize the Entourage window to keep it open. Now, with Leopard & Office 2008, I have this giant window I can't minimize, so I spend my day constantly moving it all over the desktop to get it out of the way. PLEASE tell me there's a way to keep Entourage open, yet unobtrusive. Yes?

Hi JR,

Doing those 3 things moves the window into the dock. Before I was able to make the window small with just the 'send-recieve' button exposed and leave it on the desktop. (Then I could hear whether or not I had mail.)

So the only way to 'get rid' of the window yet leave it open is to send it to the dock?

Thanks! ~ gracie

It sounds like you are saying you were somehow able to grab the
bottom-right corner of the window and resize it to be so small that only
the "Send and Receive" button is visible>>

Exactly
the Main window that small anymore.>>

I believe you're right.

Thanks so much. You've been a big help. I appreciate your time. ~ gracie

Simply Hide Entourage. Under Entourage in the Menu bar select Hide Entourage
or use the shortcut Command-H.

Another tip if you want to hide all applications is to Option-Control click
on the Dock icon of the application you want to use. It will hide all other
applications.
