Minor move of cursor adjustment -While design a field in Access form

Hello Friends

Can you tell me how to do a minor adjustment setting when we design a field
width or position. When I design a text box or label I can't move to a
smaller adjustment. When I drag the cursor position of the edge of the
fields it goes to a long distance than I want. How can we control the cursor
movements for minor adjustments(like 0.001mm/0.01mm) when we design a field
in MS Access form?

Make sure Snap to Grid is off (Format menu in form design).

Internally, Access stores the value as a whole number of twips, where 1400
twips = 1 inch. The smallest increment you can make is therefore
approximately 0.018 mm.

Although we use metric measurements here in Oz also, we have found it too
frustrating trying to work in mm when Access actually works in these
fractions of an inch, so we ended up giving in and setting our development
computers to work in inches.

Hi Jane,

For minor adjustments to controls in Design View I usually just click on the control first, hold
down the Shift key, and then use the keyboard arrow buttons to make little tiny size adjustments.

Hope that's what you are looking for.

Hi Jane,

For position, simply hold down the control key and then use the the
cursor keys to move.
To adjust size, hold down the control and shift key, and then use
cursor keys.

I am going to add one more way for completeness: You can type the exact
values for Top / Left / Height and Width of the Control in the Properties
window!
