I have created a new style named "Appendix1" that is a
level 1 heading but uses A, B, C... as the numbers. Works
fine - even the TOC is correct.
Problem is when I want to create the next level down,
say "Appendix2"
After creating the style, and making sure it is level two,
and linking the level to style "Appendix2" I get the
following headings:
Appendix A - Blah Blah
A.1 More Blah
A.2 Even More Blah
Appendix B - Rah Rah
A.3 Bad Bad
It does not pick up the change in appendix number (now B)
and does not reset the count.
In the style definition for "Appendix2" I did set
the "Restart numbering after level 1" field on.
All of the "Appendix1" stuff seems to work just fine. I
get to a blank line, set the style to "Appendix1" and type
in the text, and after the <ret> it comes up right,
renumbers any following appendices, and ends up in the TOC
at the correct level.
Do the same with "Appendix2" and it fails as above.
Thanks for any help,
Jim
