Missed Installing Active X (I think),how reinstall if it does not

I am having problems with one of my programs. I know I missed installing
Active X.
The message does not come up. I can't get into this program. Is there
anyway for me to re-install? (Do I need to remove the program, then add it
back in for it to work?) Thank you.
