Missing a cab file for Office 2000 Pro

I have tried to reinstall Office 2000 Pro onto my
computer after doing a reformat with the company sent
discs(which originally contained Office 2000). Now it
seems I no longer have Office 2000, although all files
appear to be present and accounted for. I have tried to
use my Office 2000 Pro to install only during the install
I keep seeing the message that the Office1.cab file is
missing. Anyone know how I can find this file or where I
might be able to get a copy of it? Thanks

That file is on your office 2k CD. If I recall correctly,
it's in the root directory. If yo're using a copy, it
probably dind't get copied - get out your original CD.

First try cleaning the Office 2000 installation CD.
