Missing and Misplaced Spaces

When I type on my notebook computer, I guess I don't always press the space
bar hard enough, because I often look at the screen to find many missing
spaces. Does anyone have any suggestions for solving this problem?

Another problem I have is hitting the space bar too early, so I end up with
text like this:

th eman (instead of "the man")

I correct this manually by selecting the space and the 'e' and then typing
"e ". Is there any way to automate this? For instance, it would be nice if
the spellchecker could see that there was a "th" followed by a space and
then a mispelled word that starts with 'e' and automatically move the 'e'
over to where it belongs.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

Well, my first suggestion would be to press the spacebar harder...I'm
kidding of course.

OneNote has the AutoCorrect feature built into it just like Word does. You
can go through and put in many of your common speeling (sic) errors so that
you don't have to go thru and manually correct them every time. You can even
specify AutoCorrect to replace th eman with the man - problem solved!

Good luck,

I know about AutoCorrect, but the word "the" has too many possible
followers to put all of them in. "th eman" was just an example. What I
need is for AutoCorrect to detect something like "th e.?" (if I remember
my regex correctly that should match "th e" and then at least one other
character).
