missing aol mails...help pls

I recently installed a new aol email address, now most of my emails are
missing from my inbox...could they have bin archived? how doi recover
these mails pls, am sure they are stillon my hard disk.

Can you find the missing messages if you do an Advanced Find? Maybe you just
have a weird view setting on your Inbox that is hiding the old messages.
