Missing Appointment in Calendar

I copied my original calendar to another folder and
renamed it. I did this to keep my business appointments
separate from my personal ones. When I enter an
appointment, it does not appear in my Day/Week/Month view
within the calendar. I can only view it in By Category,
Recurring Appointments views (any view that lists
appointments by a category).

How do I get my appointments to show up in my
Day/Week/Month view?
