missing appointments

I make appointments in the 1 day calendar. They transfer
to the month. The date is then highlighted in the month.
Something just occurred that does not let me retrieve
appointments from past dates. The days are stil
highlighted on the the monthly calendar but I can't get
the data

What version of Outlook?
How are you trying to retrieve the data, double clicking
the appointment in the month view?
Do you get any errors? If so, what?
