Missing columns inserting pivot table

S

Simon H

When we try and create a pivot table from data some of the expected columns
are missing.

This occurs even when we select all on the sheet (top left click). However
if we manually drag around some of the data the column appears for the pivot
table.

The column is a newly inserted and populated from a vlookup. The vlookup
returns are then pasted into the sheet and then a pivot table is needed for
the findings.

If we select the column on its own then the column appears. if we manually
select with keyboard or mouse the column appears. But if we select all, it
does not.

Is this a known bug or are we doing something wrong.

Any hints much appreciated
