Missing Contacts

Exchange 2000 patched, Office(Outlook 2003) patched,
w2003 pro operating system.

Outlook 2003 will not display my contacts in cached
mode. All contacts display fine with cached mode
disabled.

Previous versions of outlook and Web access display fine.

It appears to be related to offline filtering. The
fitlers are clear, but... it I add and remove a filter,
the items will appear briefly and then disappear.
