missing cursor

I've tried the other list and had no response really there.

My cursor has gone missing when I use Word.
I have Office 2000 installed on W2k.
It is not a reboot problem, I have rebuilt office, I have restored office, I
have reinstalled office and nothing I do will restore the cursor - very
irritating because I have little idea where to click!

Does anyone out there know either how I can get my cursor back or where I
can ask the question to get an answer?

I would try reinstalling mouse software, you can adjust the "I" size and how
the curser looks from there

Have you changed the display settings.
