Missing Data

I am currently taking a Microsoft Project 2007 class and in section 1.3 of
the text book "Microsoft Office Project 2007" by Rachel Biheller Bunin, it
talks about using Data provided in the trial version of Microsoft Project. I
have searched my entire computer and the trial CD that I received with the
text book and can not find any Project files to do the work with. Does
anyone know where I can get these files so that I can continue with this
class?

Hi,

There are some built in sample templates to use them:

Select File, Open
In the task bar on the left of your screen click On Computer
Click the Project Templates tab

Now select a template to work with

Hello,

The reference in the book may be to the templates provided with Microsoft
Project. To create a file based upon the template, from the menu choose File
New and in the New Project pane, under templates, select On my computer or
Templates on Office Online.

I hope this helps.

If the files are supposed to be with the text, try visiting the publisher site.
If you believe the files are hiding somewhere on your hard drive, do a
search for all files *.mpp. The method will vary depending on your operating
system. Just be sure you are searching the entire hard drive.

The default location for project is C:|Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office
12\

I beleive there is a Sample Files folder and perhaps a 1033 folder. Look
there
