I spent 4 hours today entering data into my Access 2007 application. I was
using multiple forms to add and update data. I ran totals reports on the data
to check my progress. Everything seemed fine. I quit the application and
shutdown windows. When I restarted my machine and opened Access, everything
was gone. Not an addition or change remained. My same totals report now
reflect that no data was entered. Looking directly at the table data confirms
this. What happened to the data?
I have separated my front end from my backend, both running on my machine.
This did happen to me one time before. I had to export the data then recreate
my backend database before it would save changes again. Then it worked fine
for 2 or 3 weeks until today. The oddest part is, though, that all the
changes appear to be being saved, even to the point of showing up in reports.
Any ideas?
