Missing Disk 1 of Office 2k Premium, how can I get a replacement?

It appears Disk 1 of my Microsoft Office 2000 Premium has
grown feet of its own and walked off. I have searched
every CD case and CD rom I own with no luck in finiding
it. Can I and if so how can I obtain a replacement disk? I
have the 2 cases containing disks 2, 3, & 4, the CD Set #
and the Product Key. I appreciate any help provided to me
up front.

Thanks but that link you sent me says they require the
proof of purchase. My problem there is that I no longer
have the proof of purchase for this software. I've had
this for something like 3 years now and have never needed
to prove my ownership. I ahve all the manuals, disks 2-4,
cd set key, product key and so on but no longer have that
li'l receipt. Probably long since been thrown away.

Call Microsoft and talk to them. Nobody on this newsgroup can help.
Microsoft will at least listen.

Hope this is useful to you. Let us know.

Try the link and call Microsoft. There will be a charge, but will be less than purchasing a new version of Office.
Just explain to the operator.

Do you know anyone else with the IDENTICAL version of Office 2000? If so
prevail upon him to burn you a copy of disk #1. There is nothing on any MS CD
that ties it to a specific Product Key, but the version must be the same, e.g.
Premium Upgrade will not work with a Premium Full Product Key, SBE won't work
with Premium, and so on.

Unfortunately I do not know of anyone with a Premium disk
set or I would have done just that. I appreciate the reply
and helpful thought though.

Believe I will do just that, can't hurt to at least try.
Thanks everyone for the help.

Need proof of purchase, not for OEM disks:

If you have the license, or registered it you are all set. The media are
cheap, the license costs. HTH
