Missing Email 2003

I have a user, a particularly abusive user, that is missing yesterday (3/25/09) from his inbox. It's just gone. He has sent stuff from yesterday, just nothing in his inbox. I checked all the filter and view settings and everything is fine. I checked his OWA account and it's the same thing. Yesterday is missing from the inbox.

We have Echange 2003 and he's running Outlook 2003. He also has a Blackberry that does have everything from yesterday in the inbox.

Any information on what possibly happened and how to retrieve yesterday would be greatly appreciated.

There are any number of things that could have happened, most caused by the
person himself, so there's no way to state definitively. Since he's using
Exchange, did he check the Recovered Deleted Items list to see if the data is
there? Since he syncs the Blackberry with Exchange and he has the data on the
Blackberry, can he not put it back in the mailbox? (I don't use a Blackberry
so don't know.)

Brian,

I know he did something but getting him to admit it will be impossible. The Blackberry syncs wirelessly and actually receives email before his Outlook does from our BES server. I'm not sure how to get the messages from yesterday back in his inbox, maybe I'll try a BB forum or their support for this because yesterday is just completely gone from every instance of Exchange/Outlook in our environment.
