There have been threads here about people with POP servers not getting some
emails. I know that some of us suggested they should use IMAP if they're
using multiple clients.
Well, today I witnessed the phenomenon with IMAP. I was using Apple's mail
client, but then after doing my mail I opened Entourage to go look at some
news groups (Yes, I'm weeding myself off of Entourage and will soon throw it
in the trash where it belongs).
Anyway, I open Entourage, and none of my mail was there for two days. I did
another send receive, and nothing. I logged on to my web mail, and sure
enough, the mails were there. A half hour later they all just appeared, but
still, that's strange behavior.
And to the MVPs, no, I'm not going to submit this to the feedback button in
Entourage. Microsoft obviously doesn't test this shit anyway, so I'm not
going to waste my time.
