Missing Emails

I am running two computers, a stand alone and a laptop. I use a Linksys 2.4
ghz broadband router to connect the laptop to the internet. On the stand
alone, I am using Windows XP and Outlook 2000 as my email program. On the
laptop, I am using Windows Vista and MS Windows Mail as the email program.
I've noticed that I receive email on the laptop that does not show up on the
stand alone. Any ideas on why some emails are not showing up on the stand
alone system?

Because you have the laptop's mail program configured to download and delete
the messages, is my guess.
