Missing field "TaskID" in view Type "My Work"

I've inherited a PWA environment that's a little goofed up. We are in the
midst of creating a new one from scratch so I can easily compare strange
things from one environment to the other. That help. But I tried to create a
view using the "My Work" fields and I can't see TaskID in my current
environment as an option to select. I can see it in the new, pristine
environment.

I have no idea how this would go missing in the current environment. It's
not a custom field. Can anyone offer any advice? Thanks so much in advance.

If you're talking about finding it in the field selector in the view, then
look at the right hand side to see if it is already added to view, and that
somehow the width of the column is set incorrectly.

Hi Gary
Nope that isn't the issue. It's not available in existing My Work type views
nor in new views I try to create. I even looked through custom fields to see
if there was any clue there and it doesn't look like there's anything custom
that resembles it.

I checked the column widths and it's not hidden. It's just nowhere. Any
other ideas I could try?

You should see a field called Task ID [Assignment], if you don't I really
can't imagine what could cause it to not appear. Is your database healthy,
Do you regularly update the statistics?

Hi Gary
I think our DB has issues (that's why we're creating a new one) but I think
our DBAs are doing the normal maintenance required. I'm not sure what
"updating statistics" are. Can you describe that with a little more detail?

It's a routine to update the indexes in a SQL Server database and is usually
part of a database maintenance plan.
