Missing fields in Form/Report Wizard

N

Nate

When i go to the either the Form or Report Wizard to create either one, it
does not give me any fields to choose from. I did have the option in the
beginning but along the way, my fields dissappeared. This goes for any new
databases I start.
I have uninstalled the Office 2003 product and re-installed it and the same
thing. I have upgraded and the same thing.
Can anyone help?

Did you select the record source from the drop-down when you first
opened the wizard?

Then, again, what do you need the wizard for to create a new form or
report?

I am having this same problem on one computer with Access 2003. I have found
this same question on other forums but like this one, no answer was ever
given. Have you corrected the problem?
The table is available to select and no available fields are displayed when
using the wizard for queries, reports, etc. The fields are available in
design view, just not in wizard. It would be simple to use the design view
if I had time to do everyone's reports/queries but I don't and many are not
comfortable or capable of doing these without the wizard.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. We too have uninstalled and
reinstalled Access.
